Event description

Description

As a preview to the Women Over 50 Film Festival (WOFFF) we will be hosting a film evening in support of Opening Doors, the largest charity providing support services for older LGBT people in London.

The Women Over 50 Film Festival celebrates the work of older women on both sides of the camera.

We will be hosting an exclusive evening of films by older women and will be raising funds in support of Opening Doors (a suggested minimum donation of £5 for attending). We are delighted to have BOOTWMN editor, Bonnie-Rae Brickman, join us for a Q&A about the film before the feature screening.

Drinks and canapés from 6.30. Screenings begin at 7pm.

On the night

When she is approached by a Canadian artist and a San Franciscan tattooer to create a gay themed cowboy boot, a story unfolds of a unique collaboration that takes us to the heart of cowboy country in Northern Texas. English American).

Feature – Cloudburst (93 mins)

An older lesbian couple escape from their nursing home and head to Canada to get married. Along the way, they pick up a young, male hitchhiker. English (American).
