Your Letter Has Arrived

Did your Owl get lost with your Wizarding School letter? Well wait no longer- your chance to visit Wizard School has arrived.

A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE

This is a family friendly event that is suitable for all ages, whether you have always been a fan or you are just along for the ride this is an amazing experience! A magical event put on by fans of the great wizard and witch books/movies that is meant to bring fans together and give wizards the chance to enjoy community in this immersive environment. Wizard Festival will give you the feeling that you stepped into the Wizarding World! This is a FUNDRAISER event for The Boys and Girls Club of Greater NWI and a portion of all ticket sales will go directly to the organization!

Study Magic in this immersive experience. Attend classes including Flying Lessons, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and more! Visit "Wizard Alley" where you can shop for all your wizard merchandise! Have lunch, dinner, a snack, or enjoy a themed drink like Butterbeer, Poly Juice Potion, and more at The Cauldron Bar. Don't miss out on this magical experience!

Learn About Wizard Festival

Classes

During your time at Wizard Festival you will be able to attend special classes that will help you to sharpen your Wizard skills! Classes include Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, & Flying Lessons!

Activities

Witches & Wizards will have the opportunity to play for their house at Wizard Trivia in a race for the house cup, take tons of pictures with special photo ops and props, Get sorted into their house, and interact with Characters straight from the book/movie!

Vendors

Don’t worry if you don’t have everything for Wizard school, our “Wizard Alley” will be full of vendor shops for you to purchase your wands, HP merch, and more!

Dining & Bar

Be sure to save room- we will be having a special themed menu for you to enjoy throughout the event including Roasted Phoenix, Hogsmeade Sausage, and much more! Plus be sure to save room for a Chocolate Frog and Butterbeer available served in a special Mug to take home!

Classrooms & Activities

Classrooms and Activities will be running throughout the event time- each Wizard will receive a classroom and event schedule upon admittance to Wizard Festival!

DUE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES YOU MUST ADHERE TO YOUR SCHEDULE, if you check in after your assigned time, you may miss out on one of your activities or classes and will NOT be able to participate in that class or activity, as every group is assigned their specific times in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines!

Potions

Learn the correct way to brew potions and about the ingredients that go into potion making.

Defense Against the Dark Arts

Learn how to magically defend yourself against dark creatures, arts, and charms. Wizards will get a chance to learn how to duel and maybe even participate in one!

History of Magic

Be sure to stop by The Great Hall to play for your house in Wizard Trivia in a race for the house cup.

Flying Lessons

Learn the proper way to fly a broom and participate in a broom race!

House Sorting

Get sorted into your house by our Sorting Hat during our sorting ceremony!

Dining & Vendors

Stop by our "Wizard Alley" and check out the shops and don't forget to save room for some delicious eats and treats at the restaurant and bar!

The Hogs Head Restaurant

We will be having a special themed menu available for purchase throughout the event including Roasted Phoenix, Hogsmeade Sausage, and much more! Don't forget to pick up your Chocolate Frog!

"Wizard Alley"

Visit "Wizard Alley" where you can shop for all your wizard merchandise! Stop by Ollivanders and try out a variety of wands to see which wand chooses you!

The Cauldron Bar

Enjoy a themed drink like Butterbeer, Poly Juice Potion, and more at The Cauldron Bar. Order Yours served in a specialty souvenir glass to take home!

**COVID 19 Special Regulations & Guidelines**

We at Wizarding Events always put our patron’s health and safety first. We are working closely with the guidelines of the CDC, Heath Department, and Department of Commerce to make sure everyone is able to fully enjoy the event and still be safe. These guidelines and regulations are fluid, so please note that changes/updates or new regulations may be in effect on the date of the event.

-Max. capacity of the venue at the time of the event. Ticketed time entrance for guests to compile with this capacity guideline. No guests will be admitted outside their ticketed time!

- Each guest when checking in will receive a class schedule to further facilitate social distancing, travel parties will move together (you may be assigned to a group with other travel parties depending on group size) Each group guests will then be rotating from activities/classes/areas with their assigned groups or “houses”

- DUE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES YOU MUST ADHERE TO YOUR SCHEDULE, if you check in after your assigned time, you may miss out on one of your activities or classes and will NOT be able to participate in that class or activity, as every group is assigned their specific times in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines!

- Guests are required to wear face coverings while at the event, regardless of vaccination status, we will require mask wearing when not actively eating or drinking.

- We ask that all guests practice "Social Distancing" while on premise attending the event and keep at least 6 feet (2 meters) between your travel party and others whenever possible

- We ask guests that begin to have symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath please stay home, we will address refund policy on a case by case basis. Temperature checks will be required upon arrival, and guests with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater will not be admitted.

- The venue including, but not limited to, classrooms, dining rooms, props/set ups, bathrooms, and service areas will be fully disinfected and sanitized in between service/events. We have expanded our cleaning procedures and are taking every precaution to make sure we follow the guidelines and procedures put forth by the CDC, Department of Commerce, and Health Department including general health, travel policies, health monitoring of staff, disinfecting and cleaning procedures, physical workspace, staffing and attendance, external interactions, and customer behaviors.

Please note the CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend. People who show no symptoms can spread COVID-19 if they are infected, any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19, and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit. We appreciate your cooperation during this unprecedented time. Visit the CDC website for the latest guidelines.

Parking: Free Event Parking is available.

Event Check In: Please check in at King's Cross- Platform 9 3/4 when you arrive.

Costume/Attire: We are encouraging guests to come dressed for the occasion; costumes are encouraged but not required. We can't wait to see all the students, professors, and other characters come to life from the Wizarding World!

Tickets: Ticket(s) for Wizard Fest purchased are non refundable and non transferable. In order to make check in as quick and easy as possible please have your tickets ready and out when you arrive to the event check in area. Please follow signs and our 'House Elves' instructions when checking in to event.

Tickets will have a time of admittance on them so guests can enjoy the event to its fullest, this was designed with our guests in mind so please take care to notice the time on your tickets as you will not be admitted prior to your purchased ticket time or outside of the ticketed time slot that you purchased!

A valid ticket with scannable QR code is required by all guests to enter event. It is recommended to print a paper ticket to prevent any technology complications which would prevent your ticket from displaying on your phone. There is no guest list. Each ticket must be scanned.

Do I need a ticket to enter the event? Yes, all guests must have a valid ticket to enter the event, no guest will be admitted with out a valid event ticket. All guest under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an Adult. No guest under the age of 18 will be admitted without an Adult. This event is not recommend for toddlers/babies, however children under the age of 2 are admitted free with a paying adult.

How Do I Order Tickets? You can find a complete list of events and ticket availability here. Select the date of the event and time you would like to purchase tickets for, then click "Tickets" and you will be presented with a pop up screen showing the ticket price, option to purchase tickets (subject to availability), once you select the number of tickets you would like to purchase click "Checkout" and follow the instructions on the page.
