Event Details

We are delighted to kick off the fall with an invite to our monthly meeting on September 28th! This is one not to miss - especially for members who have been part of WISE's 5+ year evolution. Sarah Davidson of NY Green Bank will graciously host us on her open-air terrace in a relaxed setting.

At our get-together, we will be introducing you to our new WISE-NYC Chapter Leaders! These three amazing ladies were selected through a several month process and we couldn't be more thrilled they accepted!

Agenda will include:
  • WISE update on transition plan and where we will focus all our extra time
  • New leader intros and history with WISE
  • New leaders' vision and dreams for WISE-NYC

The monthly gathering will be interactive and will provide a great opportunity for WISE-NYC members to provide feedback and ideas. Please bring your questions/comments to the meeting, or feel free to send along any questions in advance to

Date: Thursday, September 28th

Time: 6:30-8:30pm

Address: Fort Greene, Brooklyn (see exact address in email)

Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE) is a community of women contributing to the ESG* investment industry with the purpose of connecting, deepening relationships, learning and sharing expertise. Our collective aspiration is to lead ESG investing into the mainstream and to do it with fun and camaraderie. WISE members commit to "take the call" -- ready and willing to support one another.

Founded in February 2012 by Lori Choi, Lily S. Trager and Eva Zlotnicka, WISE is based in New York City, with local chapters in BostonWashington DC, San FranciscoToronto and London. Each chapter is run by committed Chapters Leaders and depends upon community members to host and organize monthly gatherings in homes, offices and sometimes public spaces.  Additional events are planned on an ad-hoc basis around specific interests and themes or to feature external speakers, such as mentors and industry leaders. WISE currently includes over 800 contributing members representing ESG catalysts across the investment ecosystem. This includes public and private asset managers, wealth managers, investment consultants, investors, analysts, data providers, NGOs, and more.

The WISE-NYC Chapter is proudly led by Sarah Bostwick, Puja Modi, and Bridget Realmuto. You can reach the WISE-NYC Chapter Leaders at wisenycchapterleaders (at) gmail (dot) com. Please email wisefounders (at) gmail (dot) com with your ideas on how to further develop our community.

*We use the term ESG as a way to represent environmental, social and governance related investing approaches including: sustainable, responsible, impact, mission-related and beyond.
