What is the plan for The New Leaders Summit?

The Summit will take place on the evening of May 3rd and go through 5pm on May 4th, 2018. We open May 3rd with a reception in the museum gallery, followed by an all day conference on the 4th with talks, panels, and interviews.

Where will the event be held?

Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California in the heart of Silicon Valley. The address is 1401 N Shoreline Blvd, Mountain View, CA 94043. You can find travel directions here: http://www.computerhistory.org/directions


What do I get with my ticket?

Access to the opening reception on May 3rd, and all-day access on May 4th to speaker sessions, workshops and networking opportunities at the Computer History Museum. The ticket includes reception food and drink, as well as lunch and refreshments throughout the day on the 4th.


 

Can I get a refund on my ticket if I am not able to attend?

 

Attendees can receive refunds up to 30 days before the event start date. After April 3rd no refunds or exchanges permitted -- no exceptions! 

You may transfer your ticket to a friend or colleague before April 3rd.

 

 

What is the dress code?

Whether it’s formal business attire or t-shirts and jeans, dress in whatever makes you comfortable and confident!


Which airport should I fly into?

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is located 24.6mi/39.6km away, and offers public transportation down to Mountain View. You can take the BART down to the Millbrae BART station, transfer to Caltrain down to Mountain View, and then hire a car to the Computer History Museum.

San Jose Airport (SJC) is located south of Mountain View and is the closest (10.8mi/17.4km) to the event venue, but it is the smallest of the three airports we list here, so flight options may be limited compared to San Francisco or Oakland.

Oakland Airport is located across the bay and is the farthest (32.7mi/52.6km) one away.

Is there any public transportation available to and from the event?

There is MVgo service from the Mountain View Caltrain station to North Shoreline Blvd. Stops #3 and #9 are a short walk to the Computer History Museum. You can also hire a car from your location directly to the venue using Uber or Lyft.
