Description:

Did you know that the US creates more than 100 million tons of trash per year? Yikes! Join eco-dietitian Libby Bloom from The Crooked Carrot and zero waste shop founder Carrie Martin-Haley from Summit Sustainable Goods as they dive into the building blocks of zero waste in their Zero Waste Workshop! During this interactive conversation, you'll learn tips and strategies for lowering your waste in your everyday life, and leave with goals and actionable steps to implement right away at home. From learning about the 5 R's of reducing waste to reflecting on your lifestyle to determine the best sustainable swaps and behavior changes for YOU, Libby and Carrie will guide you through taking that next step on your eco-friendly journey - whether you're a seasoned zero waster or brand new to the concept. All knowledge levels are welcome to attend, and you'll leave with a completed strategy workbook and special discounts at The Crooked Carrot and Summit Sustainable Goods.

About the Presenter:

Carrie Martin-Haley - Summit Sustainable Goods
