About this event
Currituck County 4-H is hosting a wildlife program for youth ages 5-7 years old on December 19th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Join us as we learn all about our native birds , and how we can help them through the winter months when their food sources may be low. Providing birds with feeding stations provides needed nutrition for the birds at a time when it is often scarce and has the added benefit of drawing birds to your yard for observation. Participants will make healthy snacks for the birds as well as healthy snacks for themselves to eat while watching the birds eat their snacks. Participating youth will expand their knowledge of birds and habitats, and how they can positively impact the environment. Registration deadline is December 18, 2022, and there is a $5.00 registration fee.
Reserve your child’s seat today by completing the class registration and payment at the Winter Wildlife-Birds and then, if you have not already done so previously, complete your child’s 2022 4-H Online enrollment. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, and 4HOnline enrollment is required to hold your child’s spot. We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU.
