Description

As winter months bring nature into hibernation and we edge towards the new year and solstice, I invite you to take this opportunity to move with nature’s cycle by slowing down and turning inwards. Through this Winter Solstice Yoga Class you will be supported in providing your body and mind with the space to pause and reflect through movement.

Focusing on listening to, connecting with and moving intuitively with the body, this class will combine nourishing and rooting postures which emphasize a sense of safety, security, grounding and balance in the body - providing you with a strong and stable foundation for self introspection. Postures with longer holds will be folded into mindful movement, bringing you into a meditative state of flow. The culmination of class will focus on calming pranayama (breathing exercises) and restoring postures. Enjoy the scents and usage of essential oils throughout this moving introspection, to help bring clarity and relaxation to the body and mind.

Come ground down, tune in, reflect on the past year, as well as set intentions for the future.
