Event description

Description

Taller GiRASOL invites you to our 1st Winter Solstice Noche de SaludARTE in remembrance of International Migrants Day.

All living things migrate - fish, birds, four-leggeds, seeds, and people. It is the right of ALL living things to move to better conditions, to make life possible. We all have a migration story - what is yours? Come share, make art, enjoy a hot drink and enjoy community on the days leading up to the Winter Solstice. Come by anytime between 6-8pm.

Meet up with friends and make new friends at this community arte y cultura event. We will have live screen printing, and we will be painting a community banner that honors the right of all living things to migrate with dignity, life and respect.

$5 donation or whatever you can give/ No one turned away for lack of funds.

All materials provided. BYOT: Bring your own shirt to print for an additional small donation.*

Please register for this event to ensure that we have enough materials and refreshments!

*Taller GiRASOL strongly encourages you to bring a well-worn beloved t-shirt you already own rather than buying a new one
