The Maryland Association of Historic District Commissions invites you to a winter social hour in Frederick, Maryland. Please join us to:
- network with other Maryland commissioners, commissions staff, and our preservation colleagues
- tour the National Park Service Historic Preservation Training Center
- enjoy complimentary drinks and light fare at the Frederick Visitor Center (recipient of a 2012 Maryland Historical Trust Preservation Award)
- meet members of the Frederick Preservation Trust and learn about their mission
Please note: This event will be at TWO venues. We will be starting at the NPS Historic Preservation Training Center, 5 Commerce Street (5:30-6:00), before moving down the street to the Frederick Visitor Center, 151 South East Street (6:00-7:30).
SCHEDULE:
5:30-6:00 Meet at 5 Commerce Street, Frederick for a tour of the NPS Historic Preservation Training Center with Chris Robinson, Center superintendent.
6:00-7:30 Enjoy drinks provided by Viniferous and light refreshments at the Frederick Visitor Center, 151 South East Street, Frederick.
After 7:30 (optional activity) Follow Frederick Preservation Trust members to the Market/Patrick Streets area to extend your evening with shopping and dining in historic downtown Frederick.
