Winter Holiday Cooking Workshop: Edible Gifts

Grades: 5-7

Description:

Give the gift of cooking and pass that gift along! In this drop-off holiday cooking workshop, kids will make delicious food gifts to give to family and friends. Kids will learn essential cooking skills in a hands-on, safe, fun environment. Class size is limited. Sign up now to reserve your spot.

Teacher Bio:

Haynes Altobello is a kindergarten teacher and after-school cooking club instructor at the J.R. Lowell Elementary school in Watertown, MA. Her passion for teaching and her love of cooking (and eating!) has led her to ChopChop Family, the publisher of ChopChop The Fun Cooking Magazine for Families. Haynes believes in developing children's food literacy and cooking competencies to empower them to become adventurous eaters and creative cooks. In addition to teaching and cooking, Haynes enjoys gardening and antiquing.
