Who is Autistic Inclusive Meets (AIM)

AIM is an autistic-led organisation doing incredible work to build community and belonging. I’m so proud to support their mission and celebrate community voices.

Winter Holiday Community Event: In Support of Autistic Inclusive Meets

You’re warmly invited to our Winter Holiday Community Event, co-hosted by Laura Hellfeld and Jade Farrington. It’s a time to come together in community, share gentle conversation, and explore how we can better accommodate ourselves during this busy season.

Join us as we create a welcoming, inclusive space to relax, reflect, and celebrate the warmth of togetherness. Our time will include opportunities to connect, unwind, and enjoy a sense of belonging.

The Inspiration

Our gathering is also inspired by Jade’s updated ebook, A Community Guide to a Happy Neurodivergent Christmas. This is a wonderful resource for anyone seeking to make the season feel more authentic, accessible, and fulfilling.

"If Christmas is a struggle, this brand new guide is here to help you ditch the expectations and meet your needs by doing things your way. It includes a diverse range of ideas and experiences, meaning there’s hopefully something of relevance to almost everyone. It starts with a general overview of some of the considerations you might like to make, and is then packed with real-life examples of how neurodivergent people tailor their Christmases to meet their needs."Jade Farrington

Who Else Will Be Joining Us?

We’re delighted to be joined by Courtney Freedman-Thompson of Chameleon Coaching, who will guide us through somatic self-care practices. These are a grounding and nurturing way to reconnect with ourselves and find calm amid the winter bustle. Courtney’s sessions have been a highlight of past events, and we’re thrilled to have her with us again.

The evening will also feature a live musical performance by singer-songwriter Amity. Amity is an Ambassador of AIM and recipient of the Royal Albert Hall’s Future Maker Award. Amity’s music will bring heart and artistry to our celebration, and we’re so excited to share in his talent.
