Hike Leader: John Brady, Forest Historian

DESCRIPTION: Join us on a winter hike to learn about the wildlife, forest management and history of Black Rock Forest. The destination and amount of travel throughout the forest will be determined based on existing conditions and forest access. Hikers should be prepared to hike in snowy and or icy conditions.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Walking or hiking shoes; crampons or "microspikes" may be useful; drinking water and a trail snack.

ARRIVAL DIRECTIONS: The hike will be held in Black Rock Forest (Cornwall, NY). Arrival details will be emailed to registered participants the week prior to the hike.

COST: Free to Friends of the Forest (annual supporters); General Admission: $10.00
