About this event
Join Ward 8 Woods Director Nathan Harrington for a guided hike of the existing George Washington Carver Nature Trail, which passes through one of the most pristine upland areas in the woods of Ward 8.
We'll also walk part of the route of the Suitland Parkway Northside Trail which we are proposing to build.
To allow for social distancing, attendance is limited to 10, so reserve your tickets now.
Portions of the hike will be in areas where there is not trail (yet) so we will be "bushwacking." Waterproof boots and pants that are tear and stain resistant are strongly recommended.
The total length of the hike will be around 1.5 miles, and we will end back where we began.
