In 2023 Grit League is bringing back "WINTER GRIT LEAGUE!" We will have 3 races at the Bonneville County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall. These races will be a mix of indoor (heated!!!) and outdoor. Parents will be able to hang out in the heated interior of the 80'x100' exhibition hall. For most races some obstacles will be indoors, while others will be outside! If it is massively bad weather we might move the whole race indoors.

You can sign up for 1 race at a time or all 3. Participants who sign up for 3 races will get our Winter Grit League shirt, an awesome color changing water bottle and the ability to earn special winter awards. For awards we will have 1. Arctic Explorer (first race), 2. Viking (10 laps), 3. Yeti (20 laps) and 4. Shackleton (30 laps).

For adults wanting to challenge themselves we are participating in putting on the "Dizzy Horse" Backyard Ultra. (Basically you run 4.167 miles an hour, every hour until one person remains) and Idaho Falls Trail Runners' Bad Ideas of Winter!

Each week we will send out a Newsletter with a challenge that can be completed at home to earn a special Grit League Winter Wristband. Newsletters will also have information about upcoming events, maps for upcoming races, and any other information we need to get to you.

Kids of all abilities are welcome to participate in our obstacle races. We are happy to make accommodations for any kids that have special needs to allow them to participate at a level their abilities will allow. For Open divisions, parents are allowed to accompany the participants through the course. Just remember to keep it positive and fun.
