Description

The Civic Orchestra of New Haven presents its Winter Concert. The program features The Moldau, a well know orchestral symphonic poem by Bedrich Smetana. In addition, the orchestra will perform Smetana’s Three Dances of the Bartered Bride and Dance Bacchanale from the opera Samson and Delilah by Camille Saint-Saens. The orchestra will be joined by St. Luke’s Choir to perform selections from Handel’s Messiah and other seasonal favorites. The choir, from New Canaan, CT, is under the direction of Mr. Dale Griffa.
