Description

INTERACTIVE FALL FUNDRAISER: TIGER BABY PLAYTIME +

Imagine the opportunity to be up close and personal with some of the world's most rare and exotic animals. Get ready to learn what this organization is all about and what makes Wildlife in Need so special. You will be educated. You will have the opportunity to interact with some of the most magestic creatures on Earth.

You will meet tiger babies and other Ambassadors for a $40 donation per person. Please use the green "Order Now" tab above to see availability on specific dates, pick your time and buy tickets now! By popular demand, on Friday evenings at 9pm, we will host an adult only session for people 18 years old and up. During all the sessions, please bring cameras fully charged because photos will be a welcome part of this ‘hands on’ experience. You may take as many photos as you like (flash is ok, too) during during any session.

After each event you may choose to have a posed photo with selected Ambassadors in your arms for an additional donation, which will include any number of people per sitting, but with a two camera maximum. Options will be:

$20 each orange Tiger $40 - Liger or Tabby Tiger $20 - other Ambassador

Please feel free to check our WishList for other donation opportunities!

Please be advised this ticket is nonrefundable and is valid only for the session specified. Both this ticket AND a government issued photo ID is required by all attendees who are 18 years of age and older in order to be allowed on our premises. Please be advised our staff will scan your ID for security purposes. We recommend attendees be at least 5 years old and all attendees under 16 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult. Each attendee will need a ticket for entry regardless of age. A nominal fee is added to each ticket price by EventBrite. Each ticket has a unique identifier. Bearer may print this ticket or show an image on a mobile device. Use of this ticket in either fashion relieves Wildlife in Need, Inc., officers or volunteers of any liability for injury incurred while on our premises. Attendees agree to act in accordance with staff directions when in proximity of our Ambassadors and may be escorted from our premises for failure to do so. Should a cancellation be necessary, including weather events, we will thank you for your tax deductible donation to Wildlife in Need, Inc. as this ticket is nonrefundable.

ABOUT CHILDREN

We discourage the decision to bring children (under 5), although we will leave it to the parent’s discretion. Each child under 5 years old must be accompanied by an adult and ticket prices are the same regardless of age. Also, for the safety of our Ambassadors, everyone, including children, must remain seated while the Ambassadors are in the room and we rely on their 'adult' to see that they do. Those who cannot remain seated are asked to step out for a few minutes, just so you know in advance. You know your child. It's your choice. You could always try it first and then decide if your child would do well.

ABOUT THE MEDIA

We believe our Tiger Baby Playtime fundraisers have several benefits that are both immediate and far reaching. Of immediate benefit is the socialization offered to the cubs who will rely on humans as providers and allow the genes for whites and tabbies to diversify within this country’s population. The funds will help us provide better habitats for our Ambassadors’ enclosures as well as provide for their nutritional and medical needs. By meeting cubs up close and personal, many people will begin to understand the awe and the need to protect what is wild in our world. And when our world's actions begin to reflect a respect for nature and a global desire to prevent extinction, then there will still be a population of big cats to fill those niches. This is what we believe.

We realize this is a controversial issue. There are many who believe that any animal living in captivity is wrong. They believe there is such a place called the ‘wild’ where there are no poachers or corporations causing massive habitat devastation. We are well aware of the negative press that has focused on our facility and our fundraisers. Our hearts have been crushed to read the quotes which were half quoted and taken out of context, alongside jumping to conclusions that are based on faulty logic. And that’s just the reporters. We know what is out there. We will gladly share our rebuttals if interested. Our greatest testament is those who have experienced us first hand. Read our reviews from those who have actually been to our facility. Read our page and the real work we do outside of our playtime events. We love our Ambassadors. We encourage you to see for yourself and then judge us, if you are so inclined. We will thank you for supporting our cause and keeping an open mind. If you don’t want to experience truth firsthand and still believe the lies, then we are glad we all have the right to disagree.

God Bless America!

Thank you for your support!
