The Joffrey Academy of Dance Chicago’s 4th annual program Winning Works: Choreographers of Color Awards 2014 takes place on March 1, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place.

Featuring three World Premieres from rising-star choreographers Justin Allen, Stephanie Batten Bland and Norbert De La Cruz III. It also includes Academy Co-Artistic Director Alexei Kremnev’s restaging of Le Roi S’Amuse—all performed by the international members of the Joffrey Academy Trainee Program. These diverse and accomplished choreographers bring the highest caliber of artistry to the Chicago stage with original and dynamic choreography. The choreographers were chosen and spent two weeks at the Joffrey setting their work on the Academy Trainees. The project provides a wonderful opportunity for emerging and diverse artists to set their pieces on young dancers and see their hard work fully realized.

General Admission tickets are $16, plus $4 processing fee. Tickets at the door are $23. For questions about ticketing or the performance, please email afrient@joffrey.org, or call the Joffrey Academy at 312.784.4600.
