Ever wonder how to use your binoculars better? Use your own or borrow ours to see migrants and wintering birds on and around Monroe Lake. November is a great time to see ducks, eagles, gulls, and smaller birds without any leaves in the way. Field guides, spotting scopes, calls and songs, behavior, and basic identification tips will be covered. Plan on walking, but we may also carpool to other spots around the lake. 2 hours

This is an official WINGS event! The goal of Women in Nature Gaining Skills (WINGS) is to encourage and empower women with the skills and confidence they need to partake in outdoor recreation activities in the south central Indiana area. Each WINGS event features women-led hands-on training, with the goal of building a community of women interested in outdoor recreation.
