We at 13 have scoured the Spanish landscape to find the most quintessential wines of the country so we could present them to you and explain what makes each of them special and unique. We ran into Don Quixote and Pablo Picasso on our trek through the land, we were nearly trampled by angry bulls during some insane festival in Pamplona and we had a strange, nearly deadly run-in with some drunken Basques celebrating their independence in a mountaintop wine bar. It was, to say the least, a very strange trip… But, we lived yet another day and we’ve returned with all the rich spoils of Spain’s wines.
Join Mike Sammons, Adele Corigan and Antonio Gianola as they guide you through a tour of some of Spain’s most delicious and fantastic vinous offering. Things will start with an introduction to Spanish wine culture and geography and then move on to examine each of the ten wines on the tasting mat. Everything from rich, crisp and refreshing Albariño and Txakoli to the mouth-watering dark fruit of Tempranillo to the mysterious and enigmatic Jerez will all take a turn at trying to beguile your senses and inspire your palate.
Please reserve your spot as soon as possible as this will be a particularly limited event.
Your price of admission includes a light, but delicious Spanish meal as well.
