Wines of Bordeaux, Saturday, December 10, 3-5 pm
So many American traditions are borrowed from the French (omelette anyone?) and wine is no exception. The most popular grapes in the United States (Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon) are both French varietals, and many of the techniques practiced in the States were learned from French winemakers. Come and taste what Bordeaux is all about: left bank red blends from Pauillac, St. Julien and Margaux: right bank red blends from Pomerol, St. Emilion and white blends and dessert wines from Graves, Sauternes and Pessac Leognan. See you there. Au revoir.
