This event is part of a research study exploring how people determine what a wine tasting is worth.
Purpose of the Study
You are invited to participate in a research study that explores how people determine what a wine tasting is worth.
Procedures
If you choose to participate:
- You will read a short story (1 paragraph) about a winery
- You will pay what you want for a half glass of natural red or white wine(Minimum $5 | One glass per participant)
- You will then enjoy your tasting
Participation will take approximately 5 minutes.
Confidentiality
No identifying information will be collected. Responses and payments are anonymous. Data will
be used for research purposes only and stored securely.
Risks and Benefits
Risks are minimal and similar to those encountered in a typical wine tasting setting (e.g.,
consumption of alcohol in small quantities).
There is no direct benefit to you, but your participation will help researchers better understand
consumer behavior.

You must be 21 years or older to participate.
