On April 4th we are partnering to bring you a wine class and tasting at Maslow 6,supporting The Church Street School for Music and Art.

-April 4th Wine Tasting

Introduction to Wine: This class will introduce you to a few of the major grape varieties and wine regions. We'll make stops in Bordeaux, Burgundy, California, South America, Italy, and Spain.

We will demystify the magic in a very down-to-earth way. We'll talk about how to taste and what to look for in a wine. Fruit, Earth, Wood? What kind of fruit and what different sorts of earthy flavors and aromas are there?

In a couple short (and fun) hours, you will cover a variety of regions and grapes and be well on your way.  What's different about Pinot Noir in Burgundy vs. Oregon? What grapes are grown in Bordeaux?

The best way to learn about wine is to taste: we'll taste 8 wines from 8 different areas tonight.

Rally Downtown

Rally Downtown was created after Superstorm Sandy struck New York City in order to small businesses get back on their feet. Nearly every business lost a week of revenue, inventory and other assets. Sales have still not bounced back for those lucky enough to have survived intact and reopen their doors.

Currently, Rally help drive traffic to small businesses in creative ways, and donates 10% of their revenue to local non profit organizations. The commercial character of New York City's neighborhoods can only be preserved if we support our unique small businesses. Rally will continue to develop new ways to suppor small businesses and encourage folks to shop local.
