Event Details

The Ellwood House terraces and gardens provide an elegant setting for an evening of wines, excellent appetizers, and music. The annual Wine on the Terrace benefit for the nonprofit Ellwood House Association will take place Saturday, September 16, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. This major fundraiser has become an eagerly anticipated community event.

The wines will be selected by John McIntyre of Hy-Vee Wine and Spirits, with Hy-Vee Catering providing tasty appetizers and desserts. Guests can also take a self-guided tour through the first floor of the mansion or may choose the Visitor Center for unique desserts and fresh-roasted coffee. A silent auction of elegant offerings and gift certificates will take place throughout the evening.

Tickets for Wine on the Terrace are $50.00 and should be purchased in advance. Only 200 tickets will be available, so don’t miss this great opportunity to experience wonderful food and wine in the incomparable setting of the Ellwood House Museum and Park. You must be 21 or older to purchase tickets for Wine on the Terrace.

Wine on the Terrace is generously sponsored by Resource Bank.
