Wine on the Rock: Wine & Cheese.

Join all seven Bainbridge Island wineries for wines paired with local cheeses.

Event will take place at each winery (except Amelia Wynn's winery location) from 12-5pm Saturday & Sunday. Ticket purchase is good for both days (one visit at each winery) and includes:

- Special event wine glass

- Wine tasting at each of the wineries

- Cheese to complement the wine tasting

- 6 bottle wine tote

Taste at all seven wineries and get entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gourmet wine basket, free wine tastings on a return visit or free tickets to the next Wine on the Rock event, July 22 & 23.

Note: The Amelia Wynn winery location will not be open for this event. Visit their tasting room downtown on Winslow Way at Island Vintners for this Wine on the Rock event.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You must be 21 and older to purchase tickets and taste wine, but kids are welcome at all wineries. Please bring your ID to the event. We will be checking IDs at the first winery when you get your glass.

If I purchased the shuttle pass, what is the route?

We are using two white Clearwater Casino shuttles for transportation. Please look for these shuttles with a Wine on the Rock sign in the window at each stop. The shuttles will stop at every location ,with the exception of Perennial Vintners, approximately every 30 minutes.

The shuttle route is as follows:

  • Island Vintners: 450 Winslow Way E. Note: From Island Vintners, cross Winslow Way and wait on Bjune Dr SE (next to the Streamliner Diner). The shuttle will be picking up and dropping off in this location.

  • Eagle Harbor Winery: 8897 Three Tree Ln (just West of Madison off New Brooklyn)

  • Fletcher Bay Winery: 9415 Coppertop Loop #102

  • Rolling Bay Winery: 10314 NE Beachcrest Dr

  • Bainbridge Vineyards: 8989 Day Rd East

  • Eleven Winery: 7671 NE Day Rd

NOTE: The shuttle is unable to make it up the driveway to Perennial Vintners.

Perennial Vintners WILL NOT be included in the shuttle stops.

What cheeses will the wineries be offering with their wine?

Details are being finalized now.

Will there be live music at this event?

Eleven winery will have live music on Saturday from 1-4pm, but others will not due to space limitations in the winery.

Can the wineries accommodate large groups?

Our wineries are very intimate (read small) and cannot adequately accomodate large groups. We ask that if you do have a large group, that you break up into smaller groups to visit the wineries.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Will we be offering a shuttle servive for this event for an additional $20. There will be two 18 passenger vans driving a loop between all the wineries and tasting rooms and attendees can get on and off at any shuttle stop. The shuttle will stop at each location approximately every 30 minutes. Tickets must be purchased in advance through our event page on Eventbrite.

Parking is limited at most of the wineries. Carpooling or alternate transportation options are encouraged. There are multiple options for transportation on the island:

- Bike Rentals at Classic Cycle on Winslow Way 206.842.9191. The farthest winery is only 6.6 miles from the ferry and most are only a couple of miles from the ferry.

- Viking Cab Co: 360.244.4420 or Taxis and Tours: 206.842.7660

- BI Ride (runs Saturday only): Dial a ride shuttle service through Kitsap Transit. http://www.kitsaptransit.com/service/routed-buses/bi-ride

Will there be food for sale at the wineries?

While there will be chocolate at each winery, but you will want to bring a picnic or stop for lunch for a more substantial meal. Certain wineries also have cheese and other small snacks for purchase.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?


Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We ask that you print your ticket for confirmation, but we will have a printed list of those who purchased tickets at the event.

What is the refund policy?

No refunds will be issued.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

No. The name on the ticket must match the attendee. We will be checking IDs at the first winery when you get your glass.

Where do I start my tasting and pick up my wine glass?

All wineries on Bainbridge Island will be open (with the exeption of the Amelia Wynn winery location - visiting their tasting room, Island Vintners instead). You can pick up your wine glass at any winery or Island Vintners tasting room and start tasting. There is no set route, so you determine where you want to taste and when.
