Wine Buyers Guide to the Galaxy 7:00pm-9:00pm
You love wine. You have a basic understanding of what wine goes with what, but do you often look at the wine list or the wall of wine at the liquor store and think “could I do better?” How could I get the best wine for my buck?
That’s where the Gastronauts Academy Wine Buyers Guide to the Galaxy comes in! Our certified Sommelier (wine expert) Joe Ellis has spent a life time perfecting the wine lists of bars, restaurants and liquor stores across New York, he now offers his insight to teach you how to buy, taste and drink better wine on your budget!
Joe opens the doors of his private wine cellar to host a two-hour tasting class built around six essential wines and natural food pairings. He demonstrates and dissects the myth that a $10 bottle can really taste as good as a $100 bottle of wine. The class covers history, regions and varieties while participants taste pairings of small sample bites of flavorful foods that prepare you for any budget and occasion.
