Full Day of Hands On Programming, B.Y.O. Laptop!

Windows 8 is the single biggest opportunity for developers EVER! Come to a “Windows 8 Unleashed” event to kick-start your Windows 8 Metro Style development. This “Windows 8 Unleashed” event will be run by Microsoft Application Development pros from Slalom Consulting. All levels are welcome to attend and learn about the future of Windows 8 development.

We’ll spend the morning of each Unleashed event in lecture and demonstration. Please bring your own laptop and code along with us to learn how to make Windows Apps great! Half way through, you’ll get a chance to take what you learned in the morning and compete in a hackathon with a chance to win some great prizes!

Event Software Pre-Requisites:

• Windows 8 OS, running on the metal or in a VM.
• You can download Windows 8 as an MSDN Subscriber or try the free Evaluation version.
• Visual Studio 2012.
• Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows 8 is the free version that has all that you need to develop Windows 8 Store Apps or you can download complete versions of Visual Studio as an MSDN Subscriber.
