Meet a range of reptiles and friends with guest speaker Ray Mayfield of Ray's Exotics!

Join us for another Professional Series led by Ray Mayfield, owner of Ray's Exotic Animals! On Sunday, November 2nd, Ray will be leading two live animal presentations at the Wind Wolves Preserve Discovery Pond (near the main parking lot). Learn about reptiles and their care at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm - and stop by Ray's information booth between presentations. Families welcome!


This event is FREE! Reservations are NOT required; however they are a good way to receive an event reminder and any updates or cancellations. The event is subject to cancellation due to hazardous weather conditions, including high heat advisories. Call 661-858-1115 for more information. ABOUT RAY MAYFIELD

Ray is a reptile educator, sharing his passion and expertise for exotic animal care through a variety of venues, from large public events to private classes. He also runs an exotic animal sanctuary, taking in snakes, lizards, toads, spiders, and scorpions and finding them forever homes. You can learn more about Ray on Facebook or Instagram!


ABOUT WIND WOLVES PRESERVE

Wind Wolves Preserve is a 93,000-acre nature preserve located approximately 30 miles south of Bakersfield, and is owned and operated by The Wildlands Conservancy (TWC). The preserve is open to the public daily and visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, camping, or attend a staff led program, all free of charge.

TWC is a private, non-profit organization that operates more than 25 preserves along the west coast. Our mission is "To preserve the beauty and biodiversity of the earth and to provide programs so that children may know the wonder and joy of nature."
