Description
UPDATE: If you've signed up to ride a shuttle, thank you! You should have received an email from Eventbrite detailing the time slot you signed up for (check your spam folder if no message was received). Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled shuttle departure time, meeting at Riverfront Park. Due to unforeseen events, we have had to change event locations from John Wright Restaurant to Riverfront Park, located at the intersection of South Front Street & Maple Street, Wrightsville, PA.
The Lancaster County Conservancy will host a public launch event at Wilton Meadows Nature Preserve on Saturday, June 2, 2018, as part of the Riverlands Trail Festival.
The event will begin with a 3 mile hike that starts at High Point Scenic Vista, where ample parking will be available, and follows the Mason Dixon Trail to the preserve, mostly downhill. The hike affords excellent views as it traverses through meadows and woodlands and ends at the John Wright Restaurant, where the Conservancy’s featured Water Week beer will be on tap.
The Conservancy will be operating hiker shuttles from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (free of charge but pre-registration is required). Event participants will park at John Wright Restaurant, be shuttled to High Point, and hike through Wilton Meadows back to the restaurant and their vehicles. The shuttle ride takes about 10 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your selected shuttle pick-up time.
To register for this event, please select one of the shuttle pick-up times.
