Event Details

Oklahoma City University School of Law hosts the conference "Wills, Trusts & Estates Meets Gender, Race & Class."

The conference will gather the most prominent scholars and practitioners in the field of Trusts and Estates law to discuss ways inheritance law - past and present, American and foreign - both reinforces gender, race and class hierarchies in society and how it is capable of changing them.Despite some isolated work in this area, no single conference has focused on these issues until now. The conference will feature Keynote Speaker Alfred L. Brophy and commentary by William P. LaPiana.

7.5 Credits of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) will be offered to those who attend the full day of the conference. Each attendee will receive printed conference materials, lunch and two breaks.
