Description

(53 minutes) Every year 50,000 Americans are still diagnosed with HIV, and nearly half of them live in the South. The film tells the story of one family’s struggle with HIV. Despite facing institutional and personal obstacles every step of the way, 62-year-old Wilhemina Dixon works tirelessly to combat the stigma and care for her daughter and granddaughter, both HIV-positive.

Parking
$7.00 validated parking is available across the street at the Old Bay PMI Garage at 815 E. Pratt Street (on the corner of Pratt and President Streets). Bring your ticket to the museum’s front information desk to have it validated. Free on-street parking and metered parking is also available throughout the Harbor East and Little Italy neighborhoods.
