Join conservationist Chris Austria on a photographic and video tour of the spectacular wildlife in Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. Sustainable conservation strategies will be a focus of his presentation. Chris, who lives in Rwanda, will also discuss his work with the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Uganda. Founded in 1998 by Dr. Jane Goodall and a group of founding trustees, Ngamba Island is home to 48 orphaned chimpanzees that have been rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. They live on 95 acres of natural forest habitat.
