Description

Kangaroo Manor in association with Mark Cairns is proud to present a new and exclusive personal Australian wildlife experience.

Here is an an opportunity to engage up close and personal with friendly native animals as well as some of our most endangered species provided by local zoologist and conservation biologist Mark Cairns resident to the upper Yarra Valley region.

You will be spending 1 ½ hours with a range of mammals, reptiles, and frogs, including assisting Mark with behavioural enrichment training with nocturnal birds of prey.

With 20 years’ experience in zoo based conservation breeding and landscape recovery and restoration industries Mark as founder/director of Endangered Species Recovery (his developing wildlife conservation and threatened species breeding, research, and management organisation) is currently focused on long term wildlife conservation aspirations currently supported by the development and delivery of specialist practical workshop training, zoological consultation, and exceptional nature based tourism experiences. Mark is currently working with Kangaroo Manor on long term ambitions to establish a wildlife sanctuary for local and endangered species.

This personalised experience is a perfect way to compliment your stay at one of the Yarra Valleys most beautiful, natural, and tranquil locations.
