Event description
Learn how to create textile art inspired by wildflowers.

About this Event

Wild flowers are a beautiful feature in the landscape of the Land of Oak & Iron, they signify the changing seasons as they bloom and seed. Their colours, shapes and textures are inspirational, and the stories of their use and history are fascinating.

In this workshop you will create a piece of textile art inspired by native wild flowers, using materials such as hand dyed fabrics and lace, along with hand and free embroidery to create a unique and individual circular artwork.

Tutor, Donna Cheshire, is a national award winning textile artist who exhibits her work locally and nationally.

Cost £45 includes all materials (feel free to bring any special pieces of fabric that you would like to incorporate into your piece), tea and coffee.
