Event description
Join Rick Berry and Pashu Esquibel for a Wilderness Survival Trek in the High Sierra Mountains near Truckee, CA.

About this Event

This course is designed for Adults to gain experience in Wilderness Survival Skills. Participants will have a couple days of prep and head out on a Wilderness Trek in the High Sierra for 3-4 days. We will be making blanket packs, processing meat, acorns, wild edibles to take on the Trek. Building a survival shelter, finding pure water, and making fire will be the skills focus. Also tracking, awareness, small game trapping will be a part of the experience once Shelter, Water, and Fire are complete.

This is an opportunity for adults to put to use the skills we teach at 4EEE in a wilderness setting. The ability to know these skills allows for us to “surrender” to the land and follow our “intuition” and make a deeper connection to Earth Mother. It no longer becomes a struggle to “survive” but rather a beautiful relationship we continue to cultivate with the land.

As Stalking Wolf said- “Survival skills open the doorway to the Earth and Awareness open the doorway to Spirit.”

The course is open to anyone up for this adventure and it does help that you have at least some experience in a wilderness setting, carving with a knife, and in good physical condition.

The course will be run by Rick Berry and Pashu Esquibel.

Tickets are being offered on a sliding scale. Please choose the level you are able to afford. Those who are able to pay more support us in offering a lower price for those who are needing to pay less. Providing access to as many people as possible is important to us.
