The snow still covers the woods but not deep enough for snowshoes so join us in your winter weather gear for a hike with the "little" herd of Into The Woods Farm. Wander the woods for a short hike and then we can show you around the farm in the winter with the free ranging flock of colorful chickens and the colorful herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats.

Our Wild Walk with Goats or Hike With The Herd is our goat lovers, family and kids program that takes place year round at Into The Woods Farm in Middle Grove New York. Where kids, individuals, families, and goats walk side by side and explore Into The Woods Farm.This is our program to get families and individuals out in nature and to give them information and tools to encourage them to enjoy all seasons and to inspire them to want to learn more about their natural world around them. Each walk will be a different focus following the seasons and what is going on in nature or on the farm. Snowshoeing in the winter will replace the walk. We will have snowshoes available for all ages upon request. Walks may follow Morning On The Farm so come visit and then head out on the trail with the herd on those Sundays.

Please dress in layers as it is still about 10 degrees cooler here on the hill. Boots are needed and warm socks to ensure your comfort. Bring a small back pack to store your gloves hat and extra layer you might shed while walking but then need again if we stop.
