Description

Nature Nurture CIC is providing FREE Early Years & Primary teacher training to help you take learning out of the classroom and into Reading’s parks, woodlands and other outdoor spaces including your school grounds.

This workshop is aimed at nurseries, primary schools and Children's Centres within walking distance from Lousehill Copse, Dee Park.

Training includes:

  • Understanding the benefits of outdoor play and Learning Outside the Classroom.

  • Overcoming barriers to outdoor learning.

  • Lots of hands on, curriculum linked activities.

  • Advise on where to source equipment and relevant resources.

  • Tracking wellbeing outcomes and linking with ELSA.

  • Nature tech - tools to help pupils monitor wildlife.

Tues 11th July

1pm to 3pm - KS1 & KS2

4pm to 6pm - Early Years

Places are limited. Book by 30th June 2017.
