Description

Nature Nurture CIC is providing FREE Early Years & Primary teacher training to help you take learning out of the classroom and into Reading’s parks, woodlands and other outdoor spaces including your school grounds.

Training includes:

  • Understanding the benefits of outdoor play and Learning Outside the Classroom.

  • Overcoming barriers to outdoor learning.

  • Lots of hands on, curriculum linked activities.

  • Advise on where to source equipment and relevant resources.

  • Tracking wellbeing outcomes and linking with ELSA.

  • Nature tech - tools to help pupils monitor wildlife.

Thursday 28th September

1pm to 3pm - KS1 & KS2

4pm to 6pm - Early Years & KS1

Hello,

We are delighted that you have booked a place for:

Wild Teaching at Lousehill Copse

The meeting place will be where Tay Road meets Spey Rd, RG30 4DR. Look out for our welcome tent on the lawn.

Free parking can be found along Tay Road or outside the Londis on Spey Road. We recommend that you arrive 5 mins early if possible so that we can get started promptly-we've got lots to share with you! As we will be exploring the woods, please dress in sturdy shoes, boots or wellies and bring a rain coat or umbrella if it looks like it might rain. We will provide hot drinks, biscuits and a woodland shelter.
