Event Details

Join us for Wild Skills Mazama, a day camp at The Bush School Campus on Saturday, March 3, 2018! Young girls will learn mountain safety, first aid, leave no trace, 10 essentials, and shelter building while working with the strong women of the mountain community. This event is intended for ages 8 - 16 who identify as female.

This SheJumps' Wild Skills event is structured as full day camp experience, parents/legal guardians drop girls off, they are split into teams based on their age and then rotate through different stations. We will provide 1 to 2 female mentorship engaging all generations in the sharing of knowledge and understanding. Connecting experience, energy and love for our natural places with the technical and survival skills girls need to get out and adventure.

Our goal is to see girls learning, having fun and connecting in an encouraging environment with amazing instruction and support from female mentors. We want Wild Skills to be an experience they will remember, one that will spark a lifetime of passion for the outdoors and will remind them that they are capable of anything.
