Brielle Perez resides in Oradell, New Jersey, and will turn 16 years old in May 2016. She began piano lessons at The Palisades School of Music in New Jersey, where she had studied from age four until age thirteen. Brielle’s current piano teacher is Mr. Eduardus Halim, Mr. Halim was the very last pupil of the world renowned pianist, Vladimir Horowitz.

Miss Perez has performed, as soloist, as chamber musician, and soloist with orchestra, and has played in musical cities of the world such as: Berlin, Dresden & Leipzig-Germany, Moscow-Russia, Vianden-Luxembourg, Vienna-Austria, Kurozweki & Busko Zdroj-Poland and New York City. In the New York metropolitan area, Brielle has performed in venues such as; Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Steinway Hall NYC, Rutgers University, Watchung Hall, The College of New Jersey, New York University, etc.

Brielle’s solo debut with orchestra with Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra, (Chiu-Tze Lin – conductor) performing Saint Saen’s Piano Concerto No. 2 at the age of ten years old. She has also performed solo with the North Shore Symphony Orchestra of New York (Susan Deaver - conductor) performing Saint Saens Piano Concerto No. 2 in G Minor, I movement.

Through competitive auditions and by invitation, Brielle has performed in Master Classes for internationally acclaimed pianists and professors such as, Veda Kaplinsky, Boris Berman, Dr. Igor Lebedev, Jonathan Feldman, Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski, Stephen Moller, Deirdre O’Donohue, Jeffrey Swann, Eteri Andjaparidze.

In the summer of 2016, Brielle has performed and competed in venues in New York, New Jersey and Europe. In May 2016, she performed a solo concert for the L’alliance Francaise Organization, performing some of the best romantic and French music of composers; Chopin, Debussy, Liszt & Mendelssohn. In June 2016, Brielle spent two weeks studying at New York University’s Summer Piano Intensive Program with Professors: Gila Goldstein, Yoojung Kim, Yoonie Han and Manuel Laufer. In that same month Miss Perez competed in the New York Piano Festival Competition and won Third Place. She also received a special prize for “Best performance of Romantic Composition” and at the Gala concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Mr. David Dubal presented her with the awards. Lastly, in July 2016, Brielle competed in two categories of the Windsor International Piano Competition in Windsor England. In Category “B” she achieved the second highest score, and in Category “C”, Brielle was one of eight finalists, out of a total of thirty-six competitors. The Jury had awarded her two prizes, one for being the youngest competitor in both categories, and another for competing in both. Miss Perez was also awarded a scholarship to attend the VIP summer music festival in Vienna, in summer 2017.
