Learn how to safely identify and sustainably harvest wild plants, and how to cook them into a delicious vegan meal, in an intimate learning experience.
Stay overnight at the picturesque Castle Mountain Tamarak Lodge near Pincher Creek (2.5 hours southwest of Calgary). Rooms are dorm-style with 2 beds per room, and 2 shared bathrooms for the lodge.

Latifa Pelletier-Ahmed MSc is a herbalist, botanist, wild forager and educator. She holds a Master of Science in Herbal Medicine from Middlesex Univeristy, London, UK and a Bachelor or Science in Botany from the University of Calgary. She has many years of experience harvesting and eating wild foods, and can safely guide you towards living in closer harmony with the natural world.
Roni Zaide has been cooking in kitchens around the world in the past 13 years. She has worked at The Coup in Calgary for 7 years, before opening her business, Roni’s Kitchen, in 2015. Roni teaches a wide variety of plant based cooking classes and loves harvesting her own food when possible.
