Class two of six: Wild Spring Salads
Delve into a whole new world of flavors in this hands-on foraging and food prep class focused on the amazing wild salad greens growing all around us! During the first half of the class we will take a stroll around the neighborhood, identifying several of the best springtime edible greens and learning about responsible harvesting. We will then bring some of these plants back to the kitchen and transform them into a unique salad topped with toasted black walnuts and a maple vinaigrette.
