About this event
Happy Winter to you all!
As we ease into this time of celebration, we'd like to break down the artificial boundaries between "medicine" and "treats". Let it be known: delicious medicine in taken medicine! Join us in learning how to give your cookie plate the medicinal boost you've been wanting by adding herbs into your cookies without making them taste like..leaves.
We'll be making a variety of honey-sweetened cookies incorporating wildcrafted herbs. While we bake, we'll discuss the actions of each plant, tricks of the trade, and give folks an opportunity to experiment before busting these on your friends and family. Everyone will walk away with recipes and cookies for the road!
Note: Due to the intimate nature of our classes, to keep costs reasonable we will not be offering gluten-free or vegan substitutions in house. Thank you for understanding!
Space is capped at 12 people.
Looking forward to seeing you all!

Sydney and Cathryn are both passionate and longtime gatherers of wild food and medicine. They have also served on the Board of Directors for the Western Montana Mycological Association for the last four years, planning events, teaching a wide variety of mushroom classes and keeping the fungal community engaged and connected. They both have experience in herbal medicine and agriculture (they will teach you about all the wonderful “weeds” around town), and a deep love of this land and all the plants living in their midst. They are humbled and delighted to be two of many on a long strand of plant-loving humans sharing their experience and knowledge with others.
