Event description

Description

With talk of a super bloom this year, now is a great time to hone your wild flower photography skills! This workshop covers where and when to find wild flowers, methods and equipment for taking excellent photographs, and tips for editing and sharing. A demonstration in TPF's gardens is included! Students may bring their own camera equipment, but it is not required. Limit: 20

Spencer Westbrook was born and raised in California and has been exploring backroads and photographing landscapes for over 30 years. He has also travelled extensively throughout the West photographing National and State Parks and remote locations in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, and Oregon. As a guide and associate instructor with Macro Tours Photography tours, Spencer led small groups to remote locations to discover and photograph wild flowers. Spencer authored A Guide to Wildflower Locations, Central and Southern California (available in the TPF bookstore and on our website) in order to share his love of California’s special places and beauty and encourage people to enjoy the natural beauty of the State.
