WICT Greater Chicago and NAMIC
present our Q4 2017 Webinar
Creative Conversations: Developing Coaching Skills In
Your Current Role  with Cathy Alford
Whether you are an associate starting out and trying to chart a successful career path, or a supervisor working on developing an effective team, developing coaching skills in the workplace can benefit everyone. It allows us to interact with our peers and leaders constructively, as coaches.
When collaborative coaching skills are used, the dialogue is expanded from telling and directing, to exploring what one may already know, but has not processed or verbalized. This style of interacting is a useful exercise and helps achieve sustained, superior performance by creating an environment of trust and mutual consideration for a naturally flowing conversation.
The goals of this webinar are to:
1.  Understand the definition of business coaching and the power of collaborative questions
2.  Understand the difference between mentoring and coaching
3.  Understand the three levels of listening
4.  Understand the G.R.O.W. model method of coaching
Cathy Alford, is a certified Gallup StrengthsFinder coach, Facilitator and ICF Coach, who specializes in Emotional Intelligence. Join us for this 1-hour webinar to learn how recognizing and managing emotions can impact your professional success.
