The Wonderful Wizard of Oz invites you to this Oz-tastic Workshop. This is not your standard Virtual Workshop. This is an "Interactive Prequel Show" produced by StudentsLive with Broadway Actors performing as The Wizard and Glinda, StudentsLive Teaching Artists and Wicked Cast Members that will help you better understand the themes and issues of Wicked as it pertains to Girl Scouts. Some of those issues include bullying, prejudice, standing up for what is right and the power of female friendship.

The workshop includes:

- Discover Relevant Girl Scout Themes and Issues about this long-running Show led by Broadway Professional Teaching Artists.

- Learn Music and Choreography taught by a Wicked Cast Member.

- Participate in the “Which Witch” Game Show.

- Learn “Behind-The-Scenes” Secrets in a Question and Answer Session.

- Submit a “For Good” Project for a chance to present to Wicked Cast Members during the Workshop. Finalists will receive an “Oz-Tastic” Surprise.

- Fun Patch

This is a highly Interactive Educational Workshop led by our professional Broadway Teaching Artists and Broadway Cast Members. There are a few opportunities for selected Girl Scouts to participate and be featured on screen during the Workshop. The workshop includes an introduction to themes and issues of Wicked. Choreography from the show is taught by a member of the Broadway Cast. There is a fun “Which Witch” Game show, a Sing-Along of Wicked Songs, an opportunity to present Community Service Projects for Members of the Broadway Company, you will interact with Wicked Cast Members in a Q&A Session.

You will receive al confirmation letters as the event nears with further details and deadlines.

Please note that if more than one person is participating on Zoom, each individual will have to register for the workshop. Parents are welcome to setup the workshop login for their Girl Scout technically but if a parent wants to participate in the full workshop with their child they will need to register as well. We encourage adults to participate and register as the workshop is designed for all ages.

No cancellations or refunds of any kind are permitted for this workshop. If the workshop does not meet the required minimum, you will be able to reschedule your workshop to a future workshop date or receive a full refund.

• All events may close up to 2 weeks prior to allow shipping of materials time.

• Girls are expected to participate in programs to earn badges.

• Girls will need to be on camera to confirm identity for safety.

• No recording or pictures of presentation or participants is permitted.

• Cancellations will be refunded up to 2 weeks prior to event unless the supplies have already been sent out. The refund will be minus the Eventbrite fees, and a $5 service fee.
