Event description

Description

Twice a year we showcase the bounty of local farms and producers for this special, one-night-only menu designed to support our efforts to expand the availability of fresh, local and sustainably-grown food in the Red River Valley.

The Long Table is a culinary highlight of the year where careful attention is given to finding the best, freshest and most locally-available ingredients to create a meal grown or produced within the Red River Valley. We partner with various local chefs each season to bring new ideas and tastes to the table. Event goers dine together at the long table under the stars and along the charming, brick-lined 8th Street at the downtown farmers’ market.

Chef Erik Scott with The Highlander Public House in downtown Wichita Falls and Chef Erika Colee and students with the Vernon College Culinary Academy will be preparing our 2019 fall dinner. Wine will be available for purchase on site from Scott and Linda Poenitzsch of Horseshoe Bend Cellars Vineyard and Winery.

Join us Monday, August 26th in downtown Wichita Falls for some awesome local food, great music and a culinary experience you won’t forget! Seating is limited. Tickets are $60 per person.
