Clothing Donations

We are collecting women's professional clothing, shoes and accessories in good condition to be donated to Equinox's Great Finds Thrift Boutique in downtown Albany.

The women's boutique is a vocational training center for individuals who want to enter or re-enter the workforce. Great Finds also partners with the Capital District Women's Employment and Resource Center (WERC) to provide vouchers to women in the program to shop for fashionable clothing as they embark on a path to independence.

Basket Raffle

Our basket raffle is a WICE tradition and wouldn't be possible without our generous members who donate beautiful gift baskets. All proceeds from the basket raffle will benefit the Capital District Women's Employment and Resource Center (WERC) to assist local women. Please make sure you bring cash to purchase raffle tickets as we are unable to accept credit cards.

Women in Communications and Energy (WICE)

WICE began nearly 30 years ago as the Utility Women’s Coalition, which was a grassroots effort by a handful of women who shared their unique experiences and ideas about working in the utility sector.  It has grown into a 1,500-member community of women and men across New York State who come together to discuss how to increase diversity and inclusion within our fields and to learn from each other to enhance our career development.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(6) not-for-profit professional association.  We hold two conferences each year (downstate and upstate) with additional activities and programming in between.  Check out www.wiceny.com to learn more about WICE.
