Event description

Description

The Wisconsin Balance of State COC meets on a quarterly basis to inform, educate and update its membership of changes and opportunities within the organization.

Please read the following details about registration:

  • The online registration tool Eventbrite will allow you to choose an online payment or an offline pay by check option.

  • Even if you are going to mail a check, you have to register online and a registration fee will be added to the amount you owe.

  • Payments made by check to Millie, will not be subject to a late fee unless they are not received until AFTER the 1st day of the event.

  • A $20 late fee will be added to your balance due if the payment is received after the 1st day of the event.

  • If you send Millie a check and fail to register online prior to the beginning of the conference, a late fee of $20 will also be applied to your registration total.

  • Registering online before the deadline of May 6th, 2019 @ 500 pm, this allows us to work with the banquet/hotel staff for the provision of meals during our event.

  • In the event you need to cancel this registration, you can initiate a refund request through Eventbrite, up to 7 days prior to the beginning of the event.

Any registration questions or issues can be sent to Jen Schmohe, jens@gbcc.me

Please view the detailed agenda on our website: http://www.wiboscoc.org/quarterly-meetings.html

Pricing for Conference Registration:

There are different costs for members and non-members. A member of the Balance of State is a person who works in one of the 69 counties that comprise the Balance of State COC. A non-member is a person who works in Dane, Milwaukee, Racine, and/or anywhere out of state. If an agency is based out of state but staff work in one or more of the 69 counties in the Balance of State, s/he can pay the “member” rate.

With the new bylaws, it is important that we clarify the definition of a member. A “Member” is actually a local coalition. Therefore:

(1) If you are an active participant in a local coalition (member), you will register as a member. This means you attend their meetings regularly, participate in the PIT or other planning activities.

(2) If you are from Dane, Milwaukee, or Racine counties and not an active participant in a local Balance of Stater coalition (member), you will register as a non-member.

(3) If your organization serves on the Balance of State CoC Board of Directors (i.e. ICA or End Domestic Abuse WI), while not an active participant in a local coalition, your service allows for you to register as a member.

(4) Anyone else, will need to register as a non-member.

**Any registrations not made by the cutoff date will be subject to a $20.00 late fee in addition to the fee structure based on ticket type.

**Registration deadline is Monday February 4th, 2019 and refunds will not be issued for cancellations after the registration deadline date.

PLEASE READ

We use Eventbrite to ease the administrative burden of processing payments and tracking registrations. The fees incurred by Eventbrite’s services, had previously been included in the cost of your ticket. To be transparent, WIBOSCOC has chosen to show you the cost of these fees. Tickets that are paid for by credit card, incur a larger cost per transaction, whereas those tickets paid for by check are assessed a smaller fee. Please feel free to use the payment method that is most convenient for your organization.

Meal Options:

Every registration includes a luncheon and snacks. If you have a special dietary request, you will be given the option to indicate dairy free, gluten free or vegetarian, during registration.
