About this event
You’re focused daily on ensuring that care for your patients is as effective as possible and that Wisconsin’s kids are as healthy as possible.
Attend WIAAP’s Virtual Pediatric Advocacy Day and put into action your knowledge and passion for kids to promote the best policies for families and primary care clinicians.
Join us to discuss the importance of investing in the extension of Medicaid coverage for postpartum women. Help us advocate for a positive impact on the rates of maternal morbidity and mortality, and ultimately serve to benefit and strengthen families in Wisconsin.
Join us to:
Learn effective advocacy strategies
Hear from legislative champions about issues that affect children
Interact directly with policymakers
Share your experiences caring for children
We'll make it as easy as possible - we will schedule meetings with legislators on your behalf, and give you talking points, and issue briefs to help you prepare for conversations with legislators. This event is open to all.
Note:
Advocacy 101 overview will take place Tuesday, February 15th from 8:00pm-9:00pm
We'll be asking for two address fields: Billing, and constituent address. This will ensure we connect you with the correct legislator and staff.
