About this Event

Join WHYY and WXPN for a preview screening of Ken Burns’ new film Country Music, an eight-part documentary series that explores the history of a uniquely American art form with interviews and recordings from Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson.

The evening will be hosted by Radio Times host Marty Moss-Coane and will include a discussion with host of WXPN's Americana Music Hour, Dan Reed. The evening will also include performance and discussion with musician and singer Langhorne Slim.

Please note: Seating is first come, first served and doors will open 6:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The eight-part Country Music series premieres on WHYY-TV Sunday, September 15, at 8 p.m. and continues every night at 8 p.m. through September 18.
